Gorakhpur: The Deepotsav program was held for the first time in Gorakhpur by the Gorakhpur construction authority on Tuesday night.
The event was held in the Naya Savera area in Ramgarhtal on the occasion of Dhanteras by turning on one of the Thousand Light Lakh.
Representatives such as MP Ravi Kishan, Mla Vipin Singh, Mla Radha Mohan Das Agarwal, Mayor of Sita Jaiswal Ram along with officials attended the occasion.
The ground lights turned on from Naya Savera gate to Naukayan (Boating Point).
Gorakhpur MP Ravi Kishan, Mla Vipin Singh, Mla Radha Mohan Das Agarwal, Mayor of Sita Jaiswal, Nagar Nigam Vice Chairman of Rishimohan Verma, ADG Zone Akhil Kumar, GDA Deputy Chairperson of Prem Ranjan highlighted the program.
A large number of people participated in the event, especially women.
The cultural program was also held on occasion and MP Ravi Kiswa also presented a song on that occasion.
