Patna: Video of a small child rape in the Gopalganj district two years ago has been made viral by one of the five accused because he did not want him to marry others.
Two of the five defendants, all of them were in their 20s now, working in the Middle East country.
Gopalganj SP Anand Kumar has been a special investigation team led by Hathua SDPO Naresh Kumar to arrest the defendant, identified as Abhishek Sharma, Dipu Dubey, Nitesh Dubey, then Thakur and Lalji Sharma.
Police said then and Lalji worked abroad.
He said the video was leaked by Abhishek after he knew that the girl would get married soon.
SP said the pine was registered at the Kateya police station against five young men on Monday on the victim’s written complaint.
Sdpo Kumar said Abhishek had a relationship with the victim when the incident took place during Chhath in a village under the Kateya police station area in Gopalganj.
The victim was almost not 16 years old.
“The four other defendants have caught Abhishek with the girl in an unpleasant position and raped him taking advantage of the situation.
The victim was not approaching the police for various reasons,” he said.
Sdpo said the girl would now get married but Abhishek extorted it to marry her instead.
“The girl ignored it.
He finally leaked the video with a motive to cancel his marriage.
Prilegnant after knowing about his virgin video, the victim went to Abhishek’s house and told him that he would approach the police.
Abhishek has fled since then,” he said.
He said the victim then filed a brilliant against five accused.
SDO said it would take time to capture the two accused of working abroad because they had to be deported to India first.
“SP will write to the State Police Headquarters, which will notify the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Ministry of External Affairs.
Our Embassy in the country concerned will be informed to contact the government further there for deportation of Duo to India,” he said.
Spdo said the police needed to collect passports, visas and airport details from where both took flight, to begin their deportation process.
