The defense sector moves towards independence: Rajnath

Nagpur: Indian defense exports for the past two years standing at RS 17,000 Crore, said Defense Minister Rajnath Singh.
Singh spoke on the function to hand over the first batch of multimode hand grenades made by Economic Explosives Limited (EEL), a company located in the city.
Head of General Army M M M M M Narnavne and Drdo Chief G Sateesh Reddy is also part of the function.

Lately, 10 private industries have been empowered to conduct self-certification of their products.
Drdo also offers funds in front of Rs 10 Crore to the private industry to invest in research and development, said Minister.
