The Delhi Government maps the ‘Dishbhakti’ course

New Delhi: The Delhi government launched the Deshbhakti curriculum (patriotism) for his schools on Tuesday at the birth of Shaheed Bhagat Singh.
The aim is to instill a sense of patriotism in students – from nurseries to XII – even when they debate the idea through class activities, coming with their own definitions and answers and remain involved with thought.
Students must find answers in the classroom and outside through discussion, which will be strengthened through other class activities.
For example, is a judge in Japan right in releasing a thief who was caught because he was standing to be a concern in a house where the national anthem was playing? Students must find answers in the classroom and outside through discussion.
For example, respecting the country means standing when a national anthem is being played? What did they understand the concept of a country? Deshbhakti class will be held twice a week for students Xith & Xiith and every day for Vith to ViIith.
Course content and handbook for teachers released on Tuesday.
Duration for each period, such as the curriculum of happiness, will be 40 minutes.
The curriculum for the main classes will be released as children return to school.
The class will begin with “Dishbhakti Dhyan”.
This will be a 5-minute mindfulness session where students will take an appointment to respect the nation and pay their tribute to five freedom fighters every day.
Five names must be different for each class.
One of the booklets brings a short profile of 100 freedom fighters, including famous like Bhagat Singh, Gandhi and Nehru and also the region, taken from all parts of the country.
Some institutions are also numbers on the list.
The interaction and reflection of the system will have to be placed in the “Dishbhakti diary”.
It will also include children’s understanding of changes in their behavior after the curriculum is launched.
The booklet has a chapter with a theme like “my country, my self-esteem”; “My Indian is noble but does not develop”; “Who is Dishbhakt?”; “Love and respect for someone’s country”; and “Indian my dreams”.
Class students with Vith for Viitiith will have a more detailed deshbhakti verder with love for the country and respect the country handled in two separate chapters.
For class IXTH -xiith, there are activities that teach the differences between love and respect.
Every chapter has questions like why they think Dishbhakti is important today; How important has patriotic police, doctors, safai karmacharis and politicians; And do we need a patriotic army on the border? Group discussions will be held with these questions in class.
The teacher has been instructed to honor all opinions and does not express their own opinions about sensitive topics.
Students will also get homework that will involve looking for their family members’ opinions, neighbors and friends who are older than them.
All this will be limited by the flag day activity.
However, there will be no formal assessment.
The learning outcomes will be measured on self-awareness, confidence, problem solving, pluralism and diversity, collaboration and social and civil responsibility, among others.
