The Delhi-Meerut e-way toll road is repaired at Rs 140

New Delhi: Coming December 25, you have to get out Rs 140 for a one-way trip from Sarai Kale Khan to Meerut, if you travel by car in Delhi-Meerut Expressway.
Toll levels for one-way trip from Indirapuram to Meerut and the Dundahera to Meerut each of them are Rs 95 and Rs 75.
However, the majority of daily commuters will not be affected by the imposition of this toll road because there are no user costs to be collected from all who travel from Delhi to Dasna and return.
Road transportation services and highways on Friday issued a toll notification that allows the National Highway Authority (NHAI) to start collecting user costs from various vehicle categories.
Delhi-Meerut Expressway is a third highway stretch like in NCR where NHAI follows the “closed toll” system, which means the passengers must pay user fees only for the right KMS.
Nhai has installed an automatic plate recognition camera (ANPR) at all entry points and exits to calculate the total KMS vehicle traveling on the toll road.
User costs will be automatically deducted from the Fastag Wallet Vehicle.
Two, tricycle and all moving vehicles are slowly prohibited in the express section – six barriturade lines in the middle.
According to the ministry’s notice, if the vehicle completes the trip back on the toll road within 24 hours, the toll will be one and a half times the cost for one-way trip.
This means you have to pay Rs 210 to travel all stretches in your car for a trip back within 24 hours.
Likewise, car travelers who can often get discounts for 50 trips in a month with RS payments 4,666.
To ensure that the passengers pay for the toll road, NHAI has placed boom barriers and tagged the Greenfield stretch of the highway, from Dasna to Meerut, where the traffic volume was much lower.
“We need to see how compliance paying tolls automatically increases given that anpr cameras can only read vehicles with high security registration plates (HSRP).
Based on that experience, the decision will be carried out on how to collect tolls from all who use the toll road and come out between Sarai Kale Khan and Dasna, “said a source.
However, for local traffic, traveling in the NH-9 part of the 14-lajur highway will remain released from the toll forever.
