New Delhi: The highly contagious Delta variant of Coronavirus spreads as easy as chickenpox and seems to cause a more severe form of disease compared to other variants, media reports citing internal documents from US health authorities.
Documents from Disease Control and Prevention Center (CDC), obtained by the Washington Post, described Delta’s tensions as “very contagious variants so that they act almost like a new virus”.
