Ludhiana: The days after a man who returned Dubai lost, his body came out of the Sirhind channel near Patiala on Wednesday.
The deceased was identified as the Malcit of Singh 55 years from Teacher Nanak Pura in a civilian queue.
Police officials that Malkit lost due to suspicious circumstances.
He was identified as a picture with details into a viral on social media.
The police said after getting information about this issue, police officials from the Division number 8 police station reached the point and restored the body.
They added that post-mortem examination was carried out at a government hospital on Thursday.
The son of Malcit, Jatinder Singh told the police that his father lived in Dubai and had returned to Ludhiana about four months back.
He claimed that at 9:30 a.m.
on February 4, his father had left home to meet his last father in Baghana Kapurthala Village.
But he did not reach his father’s house, also did not return.
The family had filed a lost complaint with the number 8 Division of the police station after the police registered the kidnapping case against the defendant who was unknown to the cellphone number and complete details on Facebook, Instagram and other social media platforms.
On Wednesday morning, he received a call that his father’s body was found in the Sirhind channel in Patiala.
He said he immediately told the police station concerned and reached the place and identified him.
