Mumbai: RFID cards stolen for door lock access control, which was used in the theft of RS 1.10 Crore from Kamani Foods Private Limited office safe on July 25, helping the Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC) police in resolving cases by arresting three men, including current employees and former employees.
Allegations have taken all precautions and does not even communicate with each other by telephone to avoid tracking.
This case was completed within 48 hours after being registered on July 28 and RS 1.08 Crore recovered from the Mastermind Sameer Jadhav (35), was employed as a driver for Vinay Chawla, Kamani food owner.
Meanwhile, a former employee named Auatish Pawar helped Jadhav with a access card while his colleague Siddesh Bikaji helped in hiding stolen cash.
“Theft at BKC-1 has challenged the security system placed in a very safe location with CCTV and guards.
The defendant has covered his entire face while leaving the area with a cash bag, making it difficult to identify the person captured on CCTV,” Senior Inspector, “Senior Inspector Police BKC, Sachin Rane said.
Jadhav has planned all thefts for more than 15 days to get money quickly and allegedly commit a violation of his daughter’s care.
“All planning was run after Jadhav knew that his employer had left the cash bag in the office on July 16, before leaving for his home city.
On July 19, the CCTV record captured in the office showed Jadhav learned to operate the door access card,” the police said.
“This raises suspicion and therefore the team takes staff details today and the former and finds that the access card has been stolen,” he added.
The theft was revealed when Chawla continued the office on July 28 and found lost cash.
This case was completed after DCP (Zone VIII) Manjunath Singe watched the team.
