Nagpur: A man ridden by a 32-year-old debt hung himself to death at his house on Friday night.
The deceased was identified as Sachin Tichkule, a resident of Pardhi Nagar and driver by the profession, MIDC police said.
Police said Tichkule faced a severe financial crisis over the past few years.
“He was also under heavy debt, which caused severe mental pressure for him,” police said.
He was suspected of suicide on Friday night after being drunk, police said and added that Tichkule survived his wife’s daughter and nine months.
The police have registered unintentional deaths in this matter.
