Ahmedabad: After the murder took place at a liquor party at the farmhouse in Sargasan, Gandhinagar, on September 17, the city police had raised vigilance.
On Saturday night, they arrested a 25-year-old man near the Vashnodevi circle carrying a starter gun and drunk.
On the basis of input, police police were deployed near Greenwoods Society near the Vaishnodevi circle on Saturday night and were checking the car.
“We got input that a man aged around 25 roaming with a gun in his upper class car.
We mobilized the team near the Greenwoods Society and saw a man driving his car at speed but by the zigzag way.
We managed to stop him and check out to find it drunk,” said an officer police.
The officer said that the police did not smell his mouth with Covid-19 pandemic, because it might have spread infection, but he failed to walk in a straight line when asked.
He said that the police also restored weapons from him who were the German starter weapons made.
“We asked him if he had permission to drink liquor to look after the weapon but he did not have permission,” the officer said.
The defendant was identified as Kuldeepsinh Nakum, a Navrang flat resident on the 80-ft ring road in the city of Surendranagar, and he went to a liquor party in Ognaj.
Police officers said that he did not work anywhere, but his father runs guest facilities who pay in Surdendranagar.
Police Sola registered a drunken case in a drunken state by increasing the accusation under the invitation against the nakum and started the investigation.
The police confiscated weapons and also a top class car worth Rs 10 lakh for further investigation in this case.
