Over the past few days, different party candidates have campaigned when they hope that the selection process can be continued at any time.
It is expected to be a cornered contest between Shiromani Akali Dal (Badal), former DSGMC President Manjit Singh GK-LED Jag Aasra Teacher Ott (Jago) and Paramjit Singh Sarna-LED Shiromani Akali Dal (Delhi), which also has an alliance with former Takhand Jatharar Bhai Ranjit Singh Panthic Akali Lehar.

Despite the efforts carried out by a few quarters to come to a kind of arrangement between Manjit Singh GK and Sarna, it cannot be done.
The leaders of all groups are in full campaign mode both offline and online.
The results of the DSGMC selection can also have an impact on the battle of perceptions in Punjab, especially for sad (badal) because only six months remain for the election in Punjab.
DSGMC President Manjinder Singh Sire has highlighted various tasks during his term, especially during the second covid wave.
Previously he highlighted the support extended to agricultural movements and especially expanded assistance in getting guarantees to farmers who were arrested after the January 26 incident when farmers had reached the red fortress and the Sikh flag was appointed.
However, his opponents highlighted the circular issuance (LOC) against Sanda to stop him from flying abroad in connection with the case of abuse by the DSGMC office carrier when he was Secretary General of the body of Sikh.
Although the election was suspended, the parties and candidates could not really come out of the election mode and they continued to attack rivals or rushed to places where they could get credit.
