Asked: Class X Vocational Study Students on Friday held protests in front of the city secondary school here after school authorities allegedly reduced the ongoing duration of the Underwriting SUMP.
Female students along with their parents held a demonstration in front of the gate school immediately after their exam was finished.
School authorities denied the allegations and said the exam was carried out according to the secondary education council schedule (BSE).
Students claim the duration of Friday’s inspection, which is mentioned in paper information technology questions (IT) and hospitality (Th), one hour.
But the Invigilator took the answer sheet 30 minutes before the end of the scheduled exam.
52 students appeared in vocational checks at school.
“We don’t have time to answer questions in a short time.
Schools should allow us one hour to answer questions,” said an exam.
Pannag Bhushan Majhi, Principal, said BSE has fixed a 30-minute duration for a 20-mark exam in such vocational subjects and HT.
“Previously the council had issued a schedule and also sent us a day before the exam which was 30 minutes of duration.
Accidentally, in a question paper, the test duration was mentioned one hour,” Majhi admitted.
He said before the exam, the compensation had also instructed students about the actual duration.
