The EC restriction commission to visit J & K, interact with political parties today

Jammu: The restriction commission for Jammu and Kashmir will reach UT on Tuesday for two-day visits to meet political parties, district officials and other stakeholders and collect basic level information related to the surgress of constituencies there.
Both Congress and BJP, together with the Jammu Panthers Party and Kashmir welcomed the election commission and said they would fulfill delegates and demand a fair representative from all communities.
President Raveny Unit BJP Jammu and Kashmir Raina said the party’s delegation would demand “legitimate and logical restrictions” from the commission.
“In 1985, restrictions on assembly seats in Jammu and Kashmir were still questioned to this day.
BJP will demand restrictions in which no one is discriminated against and everyone is given the same representation,” he said.
Furthermore, the BJP leader Kavinder Gupta said his party wants restrictions carried out on two parts – the hill area and plain.
“Voters must also be a factor in making constituencies.
We hope that the constituency will appear now will provide justice for Jammu and Kashmir,” said Gupta.
Congress on the other hand demands the restriction commission to spend more time at the grassroots level to understand reality and sentiment.

Congress has decided that we will fulfill the delegation of commissions in both Jammu and Kashmir.

Head of Party Partsers Bhim Singh also welcomed the Learning Commission to visit UT and said the Commission had to divide the same seat between Jammu and Kashmir.

There is internal tension in Jammu and Kashmir which leads to the rise of general-minded people,” Singh said.
However, the Head of Party Parthers added that with the 2021-2022 census will begin soon, the Commission must make a temporary restriction in Jammu and Kashmir before the assembly poll.
The restriction commission, which was assigned to redregant parliamentary constituency and assemblies in Jammu and Kashmir, is scheduled to visit the Union region from July 6 to July 9 and interact with administrative officials, political parties, and public representatives there.
The decision to visit Jammu and Kashmir was taken after the panel held a meeting at the Office of the Election Commission in the National Capital on June 30.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has held a meeting with political leaders from Jammu and Kashmir on June 24 and said it was an important step in sustainable efforts towards advanced and progressive areas.
