The EC restriction commission to visit J & K to meet all parties from July 6-9

New Delhi: days after the Prime Minister seeking cooperation of all political parties J & K at the beginning of the resolution of restriction training in UT, the restriction commission has announced a four-day visit to J & K from July 4 to 9 to hear political parties, public representatives And UT government officials including deputy commissioners from all 20 districts, on all matters relating to restrictions.
The aim of the discussion is to collect information and first hand input regarding the ongoing restriction process, as mandated under the Jammu & Kashmir Act 2019, the panel said in the press record on Wednesday.
“The Commission hopes that all stakeholders will work together in this effort and will provide valuable advice so that the task of restrictions is completed on time,” he said.
PM has, at the All-Party meeting on J & K which was held on June 24, emphasizing that the initial settlement of the restriction process was very important to conduct a timely assembly poll in the state.
The restriction commission, whose one-year-old Principal was extended the following year in March 2021, headed by Justice (Right) Ranjana Prakash Desai with the Commissioner of the Main Election of Sushil Chandra and the Head of the J & K of the State Election Commission as a former member of the perfection.
The panel has so far conducted a series of meetings related to the data and map of districts / constituencies related to the 2011 census.
He also held his first meeting with members of the Association – only members of parliament from the J & K parliamentary constituency, because there was no assembly in his place in UT – on February this year.
However, members of the National Conference parliament have been devoted to the meeting.
With the current prime minister reaching the mainstream parties J & K, including the national conference, seeking their participation in the restriction process, NC is almost certain to consider the stand and become part of the future meeting of members of the Association.
Source said the view of political parties which, due to the lack of representation at Lok Sabha cannot say through members of the Association in the Restriction Commission, being sought to ensure that all the nuances of political opinions are included in the consultation process to redreg the constituency map J & K.
Learning the restriction commission On Wednesday said the panel had received a number of representations of various aspects regarding restrictions from civil society and community members from UT.
“The Commission has recorded all such suggestions and directed that this can be intentional further in the context of land reality regarding restrictions,” said.
