The education system in Bihar has ‘slipped’: High Court

Patna: The Patna High Court has dropped a lot on the education system in the state, observing that poor children must remain satisfied with ‘Madhyan Bhojan’ (midday eating), free books, uniforms, bicycles but poor or no teaching at School government.
Making a stinging observation on Tuesday, which was uploaded to the court website on Thursday night, Anil Kumar justice bench Anil Kumar Upadhyay said during the elite class ward taking education in non-government schools, high claims of qualitative changes in the education system will only become eye waschers.
The court heard the batch of writing petition submitted by more than 100 guest teachers who were first appointed at the district level two years ago and then fired by the state government which was allegedly arbitrarily.
The process to appoint more than 4000 guest teachers began in 2018.
The court has still fired them on February 17 this year.
It is said that the involvement of the guest teacher is an ad hoc setting but they are stopped at the cost of students in government institutions and a person in the system is needed to be responsible.
The pursuit of the state education system as ‘slipped’, the court said the government had to return it by providing quality education to the poor ward who was forced to get reception in basic institutions where basic facilities were not available.
The court also observed that the education system in Bihar seemed to have become the worst and no serious about the problem.
“It seems that the system only pamper future generations because only school education formalities are carried out in this situation.
The system cannot be improved as long as officials are allowed to educate their ward outside Bihar,” he said.
“Over the past few years, the media has highlighted the type of education conveyed at government institutions in Bihar, but all fell on deaf ears from those who were at the leadership,” the bench was observed.
“Even IAS, IPS officers and elite class are convinced that government educational institutions are not in accordance with the sign they send wards to receive education outside the country or in private schools on payment of entry fees and tuition fees,” the court observed.
The court said the increase could be measured by the Community Faith on the system and directed the main secretary to answer how many officials of IAS, IPS, Class-I and II in the State Service study at the Government School.
The bench is a gold test index of quality change is a public sector education institution and not personal.
