The eight-year-old boy died at the time after being beaten by father

Rajkot: A boy was eight years old, who was hit by his father because he refused to have dinner, died here in the city on Wednesday night.
According to Rajkot Taluka police, the deceased was identified as Saurabh Bhool’s father.
Saddharth was a nepal native and worked as a security guard at Nandanvan Society at Kalawad Road in Rajkot City.
He came to Rajkot two years ago to look for livelihoods.
About seven months ago he took his family to the city.
The incident occurred at around 8:30 a.m.
on Wednesday when Saurabh began behaving badly and also refused to have dinner.
His father Siddharth was angry and beat him with a stick after Saurabh took food.
But after two hours the boy began with his naughty behavior and his father again struggled.
Around 10 o’clock at night Saurabh went to bed.
“After he slept, Saurabh suffered seizures and he rushed to the nearest private hospital at around 3am on Thursday morning.
He then called a civil hospital in Rajkot where the doctor who took care of him was dead,” the police said.
The police said The victim’s father and sent the deceased’s body to forensic post to confirm the cause of death.
“His father claimed that he had struggled his son, but it was very unlikely that the child died of the incident.
Therefore, we do post-mortem forensics.
After the report comes, we will file a complaint, “Police added.
