Ludhiana: Panic gripped Prasaran Shimlapuri Nagar when a group opened fire on his rival on Tuesday night.
One of the bullets missed the signs and crashed into an old man who stood outside his house.
Injured has been identified as Savinder Singh, 70, a retired employee of irrigation.
Savinder was buying ice cream outside his home when he sustained a bullet injury.
