Moscow: The European Union has applying for Russia that they discussed the potential for recognition with their Covid-19 vaccination certificate, the Tassutic news agency quoted a block ambassador to Moscow to Thursday.
Russia has approved four vaccines, no one was approved by the European Union.
Moscow has not allowed foreign vaccines to use.
Tasses quoted the European Union Ambassador Markus Ederer who said Block 27 countries had a digital certificate that allowed its citizens to travel freely in the EU, as well as laws that imagine the possibility of recognizing other similar certificates.
“In that spirit, we have approached the Ministry of Russian health and proposed discussing whether Russia would be interested in such a process,” Ederer said.
Speaking to reporters on a conference call attending Ederer’s comments, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said he thought the compromise could be found.
Moscow and several Russian regions have used difficult steps to encourage people to be fully investigated, including by making vaccination mandatory to hold certain jobs.
The Kremlin has linked a recent surge in cases in Russia with a more contique Delta variant and the reluctance of people to vaccinate even though shots are widely available.
Mayor Moscow said on Thursday the Covid-19 situation gradually stabilizes, but the new daily case remains high national.
