Mumbai: Nawab Malik submit a reply in HC in Tuskeday.
He previously produced what he said was the Certificate of Birth of Sameer Wankhede to show that he was Muslim and had secured government work incorrectly claiming to be from the SC community.
“This problem is being investigated by () appropriate authority,” he said.
Malik said Wankhede “made (a) hue big and crying” and denied his name Dawood and that he or his son was Muslim.
“I say that if the birth certificate issued by MCGM is wrong, then it is for the Plaintiff or Sameer Wankhede word to take corrective steps and chase it with MCGM,” he said in an answer.
He added that the failure to produce the correct birth certificate had “falsified the plaintiff’s case for the most part.” Malik stated that the “evidence” produced by him has helped the government machine “to take corrective steps against Sameer Wankhede.” He referred to news reports on investigating the alertness and transfer of six cases from the Mumbai unit headed by Sameer Wankhede to the Delhi NCB unit.
“Thus the initiation of action against Sameer Wankhede shows the authenticity of the evidence produced by the defendant (Malik),” he added.
