Jaipur: The Excise Ministry has posted healthy income in the first five months of financial year 2021-22 behind strong sales.

This is 1,374 crore rs higher than the previous fiscal year 2020-21 and RS 1,031 Crore higher than 2019-2000.
In April, the department obtained the highest income from RS 1,156 Crore.
Commissioner of Excise Joga RAM said, “Staying the sale of illegal liquor from other countries, including Haryana, is one of the main reasons for increasing income.
Providing incentives to shop owners and reducing the price of beer and a little factor.” The highest income from RS 461 Crore is recorded in the city of Jaipur.
Strangely, Alwar surpassed the income of many city tours and got the second highest income from Rs 296 Crore.
Jodhpur and Udaipur managed to get the income of each RS 274 Crore and Rs 228 Crore.
Similarly, the Jaipur division also sustains the graph in the state after getting RS 1,293 Crore’s revenue.
It was followed by the Jodhpur division, where RS 912 Crore’s income was obtained.
The Ajmer division gets Rs 611 Crore and stands third.
After making amendments in policy (2021-12022), the Excise Ministry of Exhibition organized e-auction for the first time, instead of allocating a store through a lottery.
Under new policies, Indian Liquor India (IMFL) and liquor of the country are both sold in the same shop.
In phase-1 on Wednesday, 3,262 bidders participated to bid 1,669 stores including 81 of Jaipur.
There are a total of 7,665 liquor stores in the state.
The state government is expected to get RS 13,000 revenue in the financial year 2021-2022.
This department hopes it will exceed the target income.
“Despite carrying out auction in 10-phase, the department failed to attract buyers for 70 liquor stores.
Immediately, auction in 11 phases will begin and income will increase as well as these stores are sold out too,” said an official.
