Microsoft has announced that it changes the black screen of death in Windows 11 with its original name and color – blue.
The company first changed the famous blue screen from the death (BSOD) to the black screen of death in Windows 11 earlier this year to match the boot screen and shutdown from the operating system.
“We change the color of the screen to blue when the device stops working or a stop error occurs as in the previous Windows version,” Microsoft Patch Notes reading.
However, according to the recent announcement, the company turned it back to blue.
The reason for this has not been revealed.
However, considering the blue screen of death is a general phrase associated with the operating system when the operating system runs into a problem and is very common among users the return of blue color will provide assistance to several users.
Instead, the black screen is mostly called a problem with the display in simple terms.
Changes now continue with Windows 11 build 22000,346 to beta and release preview channels.
For those who were unconscious, the blue screen was first shown in Windows 3.0 which was launched in 1990 and until Windows 8 Microsoft never changed anything.
In Windows 8, the only thing added by the company is the face of a new sad emoji, which is a nice touch.
