Coimbatore: Police races have arrested a famous criminal, who along with the other three robbing two people Rs 1,200 and two cellphones at the Knifepoint on Jalan Geetha Hall near the city train station on July 29.
Investigation Officers July 29 Old M Mujibur Rahman, from Thiruvalluvar Nagar in Kuniyamuthur, has a 39-year-old Dawood 39-year-old Sheriff and 31-year-old friend Balakrishnan, from Podanur, at Geetha Hall Road around 1am on July 29 along with friends His friend Abdul Jalil, Nimesh and Sudharsan and robbed cash and cellphones in the knifepoint.
“They also thrashed Balakrishnan and kidnapped Sheriff, thinking he was prosperous.
They attacked him and left him in the Ukkadam area,” the officer said.
Based on the Sheriff complaint, a race course registered a case against the four member gang below 323, 397, 392, 397 and 506 (ii) from India Criminal Code.
Investigation of the Wing Investtion Sujatha course and the team captured Mujibur Rahman with respect to the case on Saturday.
“He faces cases of murder, robbery, dako and marijuana in the city.
In total, there are 15 cases delayed by him.
The remaining three are accused in this case,” the officer said.
