The feeling of sinking in Patna, again

Patna: Some areas are dropped as an intense rain spell inhaling the city on Sunday.
However, heavy rains, bring a little relief from hot heat because the temperature falls and the weather is mostly cloudy throughout the day.
People are seen wading ankles into deep water in some areas, such as Ram Krishna Nagar, Indira Nagar, DAK crossing bungalows, Jalan Jamal, Kankarbagh bags, Patliputra Coloni, and S K castle.
The people who live in the lowlands are struggling with mud and puddles even when the roads are digging and the hole got a complicated situation.
Some areas also experience a foul smell because of mixing rainwater with drain water.
Arvind Kumar, a resident of Nehru Nagar, said the water entered his house through a channel outlet.
“The waterways are truly clogged.
I have complained about it to the authorities concerned several times, but it didn’t work,” he added.
Vishal Raj Bhatt, a resident of the Sachivalayan colony in Kankarbagh, said the road excavated and not repaired, causing discomfort for people.
“The network drainage in the area needs to be improved.
Some more rainy spells will worsen the situation,” he said.
Ankit Rana, residents of Station Road, said they had to live with a feeling of odor for several days.
“Even though the accumulated rainwater will be dried, we must face mud on the road digging,” he added.
Sunday night, water has receded from many regions.
Kanchan Kumari, executive officer Patliputra Circle of Patna Municipal Corporation (PMC), said the water was dried from the main areas, except in several regions in Rajbanshi Nagar and Patliputra Colony.
“All pump stations walk to their full capacity.
We hope to describe rainwater from all areas in the next few hours,” he added.
The executive officer from the Circle of Kankarbagh PMC, Shashi Bhushan Prasad, also said water flowing out of most areas.
“All seven sump houses ran to pump water from affected areas.
The more rain is expected, we work all the time,” he added.
