Jaipur: A police chief police arrested for allegedly extorting officials of Rajasthan Police (RPS) had registered firs that accused him of raping him in 2019, officials said on Saturday.
“The case below section 376 IPC was registered against the officers currently posted as the Hindoli circle officer in Bundi on Friday.
He has alleged that RPS officers raped him in 2019,” said the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Shastri Nagar.
RPS officer Shyam Sunder Vishnii had previously registered a case that accused the head of extortion and extortion.
Vishnoi alleged that he paid him Rs 5.50 lakh after he threatened to file a rape case against him, but the woman demanded Rs 50 lakh more to remain silent.
The police chief was then arrested.
Wisnoi and the woman met in 2019 when she was undergoing training at the Rajasthan Police Academy at Shastri Nagar, Jaipur.
