Mangaluru: Taking a serious record of efforts to violate the Phalguni Riverbunank limit near Kuloor, Mangaluru City Corporation (MCC) began to establish the surrounding fence.
City Corporation has decided to fence almost 3 km stretch of river bank and also planted the tillers there.
The district government has directed City Corporation to prevent people from throwing debris on the banks of the river and the basis of the river.
Thus, the fence with a barbed cable tied to the concrete beam has been made, to prevent trucks from dumping duging on the banks of the river.
The file board has been prepared, the warning of the penal action against those who dispose of debris from the construction site and other places, on the banks of the Phalguni river.

Apart from awareness and warnings on the part of the authorities on this issue, the disposal of debris to the Phalguni River continued the stretch between Bagrakuloor and Kuloor.

Recently, City Corporation began a fence job, and had a plan to plant nearly 3,500 puppies on the side of the river.
People from the regions have complained to the District Government and MCC, when unidentified people began to throw debris on the banks of the river.
After this, Deputy Commissioner K v Commissioner MCC and Commissioner Akshy Sridhar, along with officials, visited the place and took the initiative to prevent encroachment.
Commissioner MCC Akshy Sridhar said the fence would prevent the truck from entering the river and removing debris.
Meanwhile, the ground on the banks of the river will be flattened, and the puppies will be planted with the help of the Ministry of Forestry.
The anus will be planted immediately after the fence is established, he added.
DC said that CCTV cameras will be installed soon, to prevent illegal activities on the banks of the river.
