Greater Noida: Three stakeholders will conduct a survey of land that has been obtained for the Noida International Airport to complete the alignment of the boundary wall.
Noida Administration, Yamuna International Airport Private Limited and Noida International Airport Limited will immediately begin the survey.
Officials said the final survey was needed before the construction of the boundary wall because the fence carried out last year was slightly different from the approved map for the project.
Spread more than 1,334 hectares, the outskirts of the airport were limited to May and June last year.
However, while installing barbed wire, officials had left some agricultural fields that were still worked on at that time.
Likewise, the majority of Borewell, Nolah and the drainage channel are also maintained out of the edges.
“The idea is to limit the land before the permanent boundary wall is established and allows the villagers to reap harvest.
But now, it is time to build a wall.
A final survey is ongoing and representatives of the three stakeholders will approve together,” said Balram Singh, Adm (Acquisition of land).
As part of the survey, officials from the income department, including patwaris and tehsildars, will go around the village with maps in hand and mark the portion that must be included or excluded before the construction of the wall begins.
The source said 109 more than 4,000 chunks of land need to be reviewed.
