Dhaka (Bangladesh): The first homegrown vaccine Bangladesh has received approval from Bangladesh Medical Research Council (BMRC) for human trials.
Senior managers for the quality and regulations at the Directorate General of Drug Administration (DGDA) stated that Bangavax producers, Globe Biotech were set to send DGDA human trial protocols, reported daily stars.
After a single dose vaccine, Bangavax gets approval for the clinical trial from DGDA, the Globe Biotech will begin a human trial, said the Senior Manager DGDA.
Biotech Globe on October 5 previous year, revealed that his first vaccine candidate had shown a promise in pre-clinical tests in mice, reported daily stars.
Bangavax was originally known as Bancovid.
