PANAJI: The State Council for Education and Education Training (SCERT) will conduct the feasibility test of the first Goa Teacher (GTET) for those who are interested in teaching from class I to VIII on November 21.
This will examinate the pen and paper.
In accordance with the provisions of the Rights Law on Education (RTE), it is obligatory for teachers used to teach from class I to VIII to clean up.
But the state government is doing its first only now, 12 years after the RTE Law begins to apply.
Scerter said that those who want to appear for tests must apply online and the application will be accepted until October 20.
“GTET will apply to Goa government schools, schools assisted by the Goa Government, schools.
Assisted by local bodies and other private schools under the control of the government administration of Goa,” Scerter notice said.
GTET will determine the feasibility of candidates for appointment as a teacher for class I to IV and V to VIII, Sherter said.
Tests for those who are interested in teaching from class I to V will be held in the morning session on November 21 starting at 9:30 a.m.
to 12 pm.
And the test for those who want to teach from class V to VIII will be held in the afternoon session on the same day from 2pm to 16:30.
“All questions on GTET will be a multiple choice question (MCQ), with four alternatives where one answer will be the most appropriate.
Every question will bring a sign and there will be no negative sign for the wrong response,” Notification for the test has stated.
