Gorakhpur: The Presidential Institute of Government Management Uttar Pradesh proposed first will appear in Gorakhpur.
District administration has occupied 5 hectares of land for the Institute in Agyan Village in the Pipraich area in this district.
The Institute will create several job opportunities in Purvanchal.
District judges, Vijyendra Pandiyan gave approval for land and institutes to be built and operated by the Department of Tourism.
The land for the Proposed Hotel Management Institute has been found and given to the Institute, DM, said Vijyendra Pandiyan.
“This institution is the first in Uttar Pradesh and it will be built by the Ministry of Tourism of the Indian government.
The state government has the responsibility to provide land and budgets to be allocated by the central government.
The institution will be under the control of the state government and the Department of Tourism will be Build and operate the Institute, “said the tourism area of the area, said Ravindra Mishra.
“It was the government’s decision to establish a hotel management institute in Gorakhpur.
The Gorakhpur division students, Basti Division, Bihar and Nepal Border District will most benefit from the Institute.
Students will be able to obtain hotel management education at a low cost.
With increasing tourist attractions in Gorakhpur , the hotel business is riding and it will provide employment opportunities to students who are trained, “said the tourism officer.
“We are preparing for detailed project reports for the Institute.
Initially, the Institute will have the capacity to accommodate 400 students and will run a Diploma, Bachelor and Masters degree program.
The state government and the Tourism Department will build and operate the Institute,” said tourism area, said Ravindra Mishra.
