ThiruvananThapuram: Port Minister Ahamed Devarkovil said here on Wednesday that the first ship will dock at Port Vizhinjam in May 2023.
He said that the perforated operation will run full in October 2023.
The minister visited the progress of the project and reviewed the progress of the work here on Wednesday .
He said that 220 kV sub-stations will be inaugurated in December in Vizhinjam.
The gate complex will open in March 2022 and the workshop building will be functional in September.
All steps have been taken to ensure the availability of rocks needed for port development.
