Ranchi: Indian train catering and Corporation Limited (IRCTC) will operate pilgrims from Jharkhand to leading temples in Jammu & Kashmir, Uttarhand and Uttar Pradesh later this year.
The tour package, which has been justified by ‘Uttar Bharat Yatra’, will be held between December 12 and December 20, IRCTC officials here say on Friday.
The train, said the IRCTC, will begin his journey from Ranchi and will stop at Bokaro, Dhanbad, Asansol, Chittaranjan, Jamtara, Madhupur, Jajih, Jhajha, Kiul, Mokama, Bakhtiyarpur, Patna, Ara, Buxar and Mugalariai before making a way for Vaishno Devi .
“Under the tour package, pilgrims will be taken to Vaishno Devi, Haridwar, Mathura, Vrindavan and Ayodhya,” IRCTC said.
Bedding beds will be charged Rs 8,505 while passengers who utilize AC coach must pay Rs 14,175 for the tour.
Jyoti Kumari, the IRCTC area manager in Ranchi, claimed that the train would have two insulation trainers for passengers if they developed Covid-19 symptoms during the trip.
Overall, the train will have room for 550 passengers.
The IRCTC’s first package tour of Jharkhand was scheduled for South India between September 21 and September 29, but was canceled due to the surge in Covid cases in southern countries.
All passengers must be required to produce their Covid-19 vaccination certificate before starting the journey.
Passengers will be allowed only if they have taken both of their doses.
However, contrary to established IRCTC norms, passengers will be refunded in full fees if they opt out of the tour if they signed Covid-19.
This will be the first IRCTC package package because the regional office was established in Ranchi in 2016.
Between 2015 and 2019, Jharkhand Pundaric Development Corporation ran completely subsidized Mukhyamantri Tirth Darshan Yojana for families living below the poverty line.
