The first transgender candidate in the Kerala assembly poll was found dead; The government ordered the probe.

The Bindhu Minister said the guidelines would be ready to carry out such operations in a more scientific and error-free way.
“The government will explore the possibility of establishing a trans clinic to deal with this problem including gender reassignment operations and physical and psychological challenges facing the community,” he said.
Strict steps will be taken to end the practice of exploitation and fraud adopted by several institutions in this case, the minister added.
