PANAJI: For the first time, the second and higher secondary education council is conducting a public check for class X and XII students, by dividing into two terminal checks.
The first of the terminal exam starts on December 8.
This exam is an objective type question and its public exam board in this way for the first time, using OMR sheets.
This is a sheet with objective questions where students must check mark the correct answer from the options provided.
While class X exams will last until January 12, 2022, the XII class exam will take place from December 8 to January 11, 2022.
Class X exam is being carried out in 31 inspection centers in the state.
Overall, 20,603 students appeared for the exam, where 10,546 were girls and 10,057 were boys.
Likewise, class XII examination is being held through 18 examination centers, and the total number of students who emerge is 18,227, where 8,939 are girls and 9,288 are boys.
In accordance with the policy for the academic year 2021-22, councils – and not school – will do each of the two final exams.
In the first terminal exam, students will be assessed based on multiple choice questions.
The second term will consist of assessment based on subjective questions.
This policy also allows schools to get ‘creative’ with their internal assessment.
