After a little delay due to ongoing pandemics, the draft list of upcoming emojis has been announced for emoji updates 14.0.
The list of concepts includes a new melting smiling face, lips biting, new hand shape, multicolored handshake, pregnant people and more.
The final list will be completed by Unicode in September and the finalized emojis will start rolling into different devices and services in 2022.
Draft new emoji leads more towards exclusivity and offers more accurate and customized options.
For example, there are about 15 different multycolour handshake combinations, pregnant people and pregnant men indicating that pregnancy is possible for some transgender people and non-binary people.
