Lucknow: Pilibhit became the fourth district in the state to become Covid free after Aligarh, KasGanj and Shrawasti, according to data on the State Health Department.
As many as 100 new cases and 183 recovery were reported in the last 24 hours.
According to the state bulletin, 31 other districts saw zero cases while only three – Lucknow (9), Varanasi (8) and Kanpur (6) – reported more than five cases.
At least four people died in the last 24 hours took the total victim to 22,693.
Additional Secretary, Health and Welfare of Family, Amit Mohan Prasad said the state recovery rate has increased to 98.6%.
Turning on the success of the ‘trail, test, and treatment policy, he said the state was left with only 1,608 active cases.
