Hour before the list of BJP’s first candidate for the election of February 14 assembly was announced, Nuvem Mla, Wilfred D’SA, resigned as a legislator and from the primary membership of the party on Wednesday.
He said he would “contest as independent”.
D’Sa said he stopped from BJP because Nuvem was dominated by Catholicism and there was no sound for BJP.
“I told BJP when I joined them that I would not fight for BJP ticket elections,” he said.
