Nagpur: Manish Jumpar, whose negative score is 526, expects to enter the NKP Salve medical college in the city for the first year MBBS according to the possibility of being cut off.
His sign is enough because the college has received 50 additional seats this year, which is seen when filling out preferences.
But when the first seat allotment round began, Kosekar was surprised to find his name missing from the list.
50 additional seats shown in the chair matrix were not allocated at the first half.
After asking students across the state, Toi found that at least 650 MBBS seats in private medical colleges in Maharashtra were not allocated in the first round list.
MBBS candidates say three private medical colleges with a capacity of 100 seats – ACPM Dhule, Terna Mumbai and Dr.
Yn Tuggaonkar Medical College, Karjat – not included in the bonding list.
Increasing seats at BKL Wallawalkar College, Ratnagiri, NKP Salve Medical College, Nagpur, Dr.
Panjabrao Deshmukh Medical College (PDMC), Amravati, and Medical College Jiiu, Jalna, are not included in the list.
Close to 1,300 candidates competing for a MBBS seat in Maharashtra.
Miskiness of more than 650 seats will have a big impact, parents said.
The Commissioner of the General Entrance Test Ravindra Jagtap accepts that several universities cannot be allocated seats in the first round.
“Universities that have approval from the National Medical Commission (NMC) and state governments are added to the chair matrix, but they also need approval from Maharashtra Health University (MUH).
This requirement has not been fulfilled,” Jagtap said, assuring that 670 seats will be added to the second round.
Muhs officials say the same thing.
“We received the GR approved additional seats and new colleges last week.
Universities will examine these colleges and provide affiliates once.
Hopefully this chair will be available for the second half,” said a senior official.
The first round will end on February 7 and the next round is expected around February the second week.
Muhs officials say the one-time affiliate process will be resolved quickly.
Sources at NKP Salve College and PDMC said they followed up with MUH for the approval of the 50 additional MBB seats.
