The G-20 leader turned to climate change on the last day of the Summit

Rome: The world’s largest economic leaders are set to overcome climate change, the last day of the weekend summit in Rome which is widely expected to set a tone for a large conference on the same problem in Glasgow, Scotland, above the next two weeks.
The group of 20 countries, which represents more than three quarters of world greenhouse gas emissions, looking for a shared place about how to reduce emissions while helping poor countries dealing with the impact of increasing temperatures.
If the G-20 summit ends with only a weak commitment, momentum can be lost because of the greater annual talks in Glasgow, where countries from all over the world will be represented including the poorest people who are most vulnerable to ice, desertification and other effects.
The future of coal, the main source of greenhouse gas emissions, has become one of the hardest things for the G-20 to be agreed upon.
However, US countries and other countries hope to get a commitment to end foreign financing about coal power plants, said a senior US official who speaks with anonymity requirements to preview President Joe Biden’s plan.
Western countries have moved from financing coal projects in developing countries, and the big economy of Asia now do the same thing: Chinese President Xi Jinping announced at the UN General Assembly last month that Beijing will stop funding these projects, and Japan and South Korea are similar to commitment at the beginning of the year.
But China has not set the final date to build a domestic coal plant at home.
Coal is still the main source of China’s main power plants, and China and India have opposed efforts to the G-20 declaration to remove domestic coal consumption.
British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said before the Roma summit he tried but could not get a commitment to the coal phase of XI, who did not travel to the meeting.
In Glasgow, Johnson said, “We want these leaders …
to focus on the commitment they can make, stay away from the use of fossil fuels, moving away from coal-coal stations in the country.” The climate campaigner hopes that Rich G-20 countries will take steps to fulfill the old commitment but have not been fulfilled to collect $ 100 billion per year to help developing countries move towards a greener economy and adapt to changing climates.
Prince Charles, which was set to overcome the G-20 on Sunday.
