Noida: The gang that has made a fake aadhaar card and driving license opened with the arrest of two people, police said on Thursday.
While Sachin (25) is a resident of Noida Phase 2, Nature (24) comes from Gangarampur West Bengal.
Alam lives in rented accommodation in Wajidpur.
“They have run a racket for a year.
They print fake documents / IDs and sell them.
They have cheated nearly 1,000 people and produces Rs 50,000 to Rs 1 lakh per month,” said a police officer.
Kuntung agarwal, additional DCP, Noida Central, said they were arrested from Genjaka.
“We got a tip-off that the two men were in the village.
A team reached and confiscated 19 aadhaar cards, five Pan cards, 55 voters, one laptop, one computer and 42,000 Rs of them,” he said, adding that the duo was charged Rs 1,200 for SIM 150 for Aadhaar Cards and Rs 200 for PAN cards.
They are produced in court and are returned in the custody of the judiciary.
