The GB Team Women’s Football Team to Take Knee in the Tokyo Match

The British women’s football team will take the knee before the match at the Tokyo Olympics to raise awareness about racism and all forms of discrimination, said coach Hege Riise on Thursday.
The GB team said the decision was made after clarification from the International Olympic Committee (IOC) on the rules of 50, which allowed athletes to make movements in the field provided they did it without interruption and respectfully against fellow competitors.
