The GHMC Board held the first virtual meeting

Hyderabad: The first meeting of the GHM council after the election of the Mayor and Deputy Mayor, held without much ADO on the virtual platform on Tuesday.
Congress Party D Rajshekar Reddy, who was elected from Lingojiguda Ward in the selection of by-election, took an oath as a corporator.
He was accompanied by the Head of the Telangana Pradesh Revanth Reddy Congress Committee.
Posing an oath, Mayor of Gadwal Vijaya Laxmi placed an annual GHMC budget of Rs 5,600 Crore for the financial year 2021-22 before the Board.
In the midst of protest by the opposition, the board was held virtually for the first time due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
On Monday, some Canporators from BJP discussed the letter to the GHMC DS Commissioner Lokesh Kumar opposed the decision to conduct a virtual board meeting.
They suggested that the board meeting place be converted into a large place outside the GHMC.
