Bhubaneswar: The gods of the Jagannath Temple in Puri ended their week-long stay at their birthplace – Gundicha temple – and began their way home to the 12th century Temple on Tuesday that it rained, marked the budding Yatra.
Trinity was taken out of Gundicha in the procession in the middle of ‘Jai Jagannath’ singing, ‘Bolo Day’ and blew the conch and a cymbal beating with hundreds of sevayat.

On the way, the Trinity stopped at Maa Maa Temple where ‘Poda Pitha’ was made of flour, jaggery and grated coconut offered to them.
Before reaching Srimandir, Chariot Lord Jagannath also stopped in front of the palace of Gajapati Maharaja, where the ritual was ‘Lakshmi-Narayana Bhjana’.
Taladhwaja First, the Balabhadra Lord Train reached Singhadwara followed by Darpadalana Subhadra and later, Nandighosha Ratha, Lord Jagannath.
