The Indian government aims to promote scientific patience among children and the younger generation through the Science Museum.
The plan was announced by the Minister of Science and Technology Union, Jitendra Singh after the signing of the MoU between the Scientific and Industrial Research Council (CSIR) and the National Council of the Science Museum (NCSM).
The MoU is focused on the science museum settings in Select CSIR Laboratories to promote curiosity and scientific awareness among ordinary people in all parts of society.
The Union Minister called for scientific thinking that absorbed to face the challenges of the 21st century.
He said, the recent pandemic has emphasized the importance of increasing public awareness for scientific science and thought.
He also said that Mou was a step in this direction and would create a new chapter in the history of communication and science dissemination.
“Science-based thinking, rational and progressive must form the basis for developing and to strengthen science-based approaches, India promotes experience-based learning.” said Union Minister Jitendra Singh.
According to the Minister of Development of the North Eastern India, G Kiswan Reddy, the signing of the MoU will connect NCSM and CSIR and its laboratory significantly in fulfilling their goals.
He also convinced all assistance and assistance from the Ministry in successfully implementing this initiative.
The Minister also suggested that there was also the need to have synergy and collaboration between the department in the Indian government whose purpose was also to promote the culture of science, technology and innovation in this country.
“Globally, it is recognized that science centers play an important role in increasing science education in the country and creating a culture of science and technology and developing scientific patience among the masses and youth in particular”.
