T’puram: Even in protest against semi-speed semi-speed silverline projects in the state, the government will advance with the same thing.
On Monday, the government appointed a representative collector responsible for the Silverline project for the district of Ernakulam.
Deputy collector (land reform, kannur) Anil Jose has been transferred and posted as Deputy Collector (Silverline) Ernakulam.
Previously, the government had appointed former CEO of Mission Life UV Jose as a special officer for the projectine project.
The assignment of this responsibility was released last month.
After his retirement, Jose resigned by the Government as Deputy Director of the Project in the State Project Management Unit from the Kerala Solid Waste Management Project, which is one of the main projects being pursued by the minister’s chairman.
The Silverline project is also one of the state government priority projects.
Opposition (UDF) has raised rigid protests against the project in assembly, with opposition leader VD Satheesan states that projects that respond to a width of 15-30 m and 4-10m height must be built, will divide the country into two.
It has staggered under a series of natural disasters and also changed the pattern of land use for 500m on both sides of the project line.
State President BJP K Surendran claimed that this project opened the land for large corruption.
At the same time, the state has provided a guarantee to the center that it will bear the obligation if the project fails in the future, without the financial responsibility set at the Railway Ministry, which is a joint venture partner in the project.
