Nagpur: The state government has allowed the transfer of teachers in the school belonging to the same trust, which has occurred as a big assistance for many academics.
The reason for this special decision is welcomed is because it allows teacher transfers from the ‘unaided’ section to ‘help’.
In the latter, the salary is paid by the state government which offers not only stability but also a much higher salary scale.
Ashok Gavankar, Secretary General of the Vidarbha University Teacher Association (VJUCTA) said, “If there are vacancies in the assisted part of the school, then there is no need to hire a teacher from outside.
The school can shift their existing staff from the part without help here.” It will be a big bonus for teachers who work in private schools without help.
Gavankar said, “The scale of payment in the part without the help is very low most of the school, and it is connected directly to the cost collection.
So for teachers who move to the assisted part will be a big leap in salary, plus guarantees that come with government work.” Previously There is speculation that the reverse order, shifting from without assistance to be assisted will be allowed to save the excess teacher so as not to be hunted to a place far in the state.
Because the state government pays a salary, he has improved the basic pupil-teacher ratio (PTR) which determines how many teachers can be employed by the school.
In Vernacular Middle School, student registration fell because parents now prefer English schools, which for a period of time have caused PTR to be violated.
Gavankar said, “So now we have a situation where there are no students to teach, and therefore the teacher is categorized as an advantage.” After being marked as an advantage, this teacher must be transferred anywhere in Maharashtra where open jobs.
The teacher clearly protested the steps and the school owner tried to force the teacher in their own arrangement.
“But if they move to the part without help, who will pay their salary,” said Gavankar.
“So it’s impossible to apply such a scheme, regardless of the request made,” he added.
