New Delhi: Union Cabinet on Tuesday approved 100 school affiliates in the government and private sectors with the Sainik School Society under the Ministry of Defense, according to an official statement.
Starting from the academic year 2022-23, around 5,000 students are expected to receive in class VI in 100 affiliate schools, he added.

At present, there are 33 existing sainic schools have around 3,000 students in class VI.
The government invited proposals from government and private schools, NGOs to submit existing or new school affiliates to the SAINIK SCHOOLS community.

“It is believed that the integration of the education school education system with ordinary council curriculum plus is expected to create strong academics, physically fit, conscious culture, proficient intellectual, skilled young people, and knowledgeable citizens.
“These students from these schools are imagined to be equipped with necessary life skills that will make them shine in the field they choose,” said the statement.
