New Delhi: The government called the New York Times article recently about the Indian Covid response “provocative, seeking attention” that came when the country worked well in handling pandemic.
The article claimed that “ICMR adjusted his findings to be in accordance with the optimistic narrative of Prime Minister Narendra Modi despite the so-towering crisis”.
Responding to the question of the press direction, Director General of the ICMR Dr.
Balra Bhargava, “This is a provocative warning, attention published when India does our good and vaccination is very good and distract.

“We are not able to be transferred by things that can be overcome the next day which is not priority from the public health point of view,” Bhushan said.

V K Paul condemned the article.
“We truly condemn the type of distorted from context reporting.
It’s not desirable and it shouldn’t happen,” he said.
