Lucknow: Accused BJP and RSS to do politics on behalf of religion, Secretary General of Congress Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Sunday asked the women to change the path of politics by supporting the congress in the 2022 Assembly Election.
Speaking to reporters ahead of the “Shakti Samvad” event at Rae Bareli, Priyanka Defending his brother’s view, Rahul Gandhi, on Hinduism and Hindutva.
“What did he say? He only showed the difference.
Hindu teaches love and unity which is a fact.
RSS and BJP are not on the way of truth,” he said.
Priyanka also attacked the Government of Narendra Modi for failing to protect the interests of the people and waste time knocking on the cellphone of opposition leaders.
“The government’s task is to develop, understand, and find solutions to people’s problems and examine cruelty.
Instead, the current dispensation taps the opposition cellphone,” he said.
Speaking with women at Rae Bareli, he asked them to choose those who really wanted to empower them.
“Empowerment does not mean a gas cylinder or toilet.
That means independence.
Women must be able to decide their own priorities, make their own lives and be able to fight all exploitation.” Previously, Priyanka interacted with girls and women on stage and listened to their problems.
