The government forces 5 more officers to retire for the cost of graft

Bhubaneswar: The State Government on Tuesday forced five more government officials, including a police inspector and income supervisor, to retire from services ahead of their scheduled retirement on the reasons for corruption and inefficiency.
They include Rama Chandra Behera, Inspector, Police Training College (Angul), Hrudananda Sahoo, Revenue Supervisor, Tehsil Office, Keonjhar, Sarala dei, Community Development Project Officer, Balikuda in the Jagatsinghpur District, Santosh Kumar Das, ITDA, Bari on and Pratima Sahoo, Supervisor Anganwadi in Block Balikuda.
Resources at the office of the minister’s chairman said one or more corruption cases were postponed with this official, most of which were arrested by state lethuity.
Likewise, Behera has been given premature pensions for violations and incomprinent in service.
With the actions taken against five of these officials, the state government has provided a required pension to 146 officials, including two Indian service officers since September 2019.
