PANAJI: The failure of the River Navigation Department (RND) to act against “Illegal” of 251 square meters of land in Dona Paula has provided an undue Yachting Goa (GYA) Association “while the government suffered a loss of RS 4 Crore since 2011-12 Find internal audits.

“PWD estimates that the rental value in 2012 as Rs 1.77 lakh per month therefore the rental value of RS 3.94 Crore is calculated by the criminal value of RS 15 Lakh added to interest of 5%,” said a privy for this case.
From the disputed property, Gya runs a restaurant and bar, along with Goan boutique and its main office.
President Gya Siddharth Satardekar has repeatedly said that Gya has land and has helped train and prepare seafarers, especially Dayne and Katya Coelho representing India in Jakarta.
Pearl Colvalcar, other training participants with Gya won a silver medal in the radial laser class at Senior National Sailing Championship and Gya now trying to prepare seafarers for the Asian Games 2022 and Paris Olympics 2024.
